Do you have security?

Yes, we have security agents on site 24/7, as well as a CCTV camera system and resident access cards.

Do you have a kitchen on each floor?

Yes, Evo Vieux-Montréal has big communal kitchens on each floor, all equipped with stoves, ovens and microwaves. 

I don’t have my roommate, so can you find one for me? How does it work?

Of course we will find one for you! evo has its own excellent roommate-matching program. Simply complete our online application form so that we can get to know you and find you a roommate based on your preferences and interests. Ask one of our tenants, we’re perfect match-makers 😉

How far are you from campus?

It depends on the university you choose to attend. We are walking distance from McGill University, UQAM, Concordia University and ÉTS, and less than a 15-minute drive from the Université de Montréal (HEC, Polytechnique)

What do I need to do to apply?

Complete a standard Quebec lease, complete online applications, provide ID, pay the first month… and then move in!

What are your leasing terms?

Choose from 4-, 9- or 12-month leases. We also accept shorter stays (minimum 1 month) upon availability.

What are your room types?

evo offers single and double occupancy, with several layout options.

What is included?

As a student tenant, the following is included with your furnished room: all utilities, wireless Internet, as well as access to the game and theatre rooms, gym, study room, pool, printing centre and computer lab, common kitchens and lounges, etc.

Are guests allowed?

Yes they are! Speak with your community assistant or leasing consultant for more details.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, no.

Is smoking permitted?

Yes, but only in restricted areas.

What are the accepted forms of payment?

Evo accepts cash, cheques, debit and credit payment, as well as wire transfers.

What does it mean to have an individual lease?

An individual lease means that, as a tenant, you are responsible for your portion of the bedroom. If your roommate ends up not coming back, you’re not responsible for their payment.

When is my rent due?

Rent is always due the 1st of every month.

Is there insurance coverage in the event of a fire, theft or natural causes?

Evo’s insurance does not cover your personal belongings. We strongly recommend getting renter’s insurance for this reason.

How do I receive mail and packages?

Your mail will be delivered to your mailbox. If you receive a package that doesn’t fit in the mailbox and does not require a signature, the desk will hold it for you. If it does require a signature, you can leave a contact number and we will call you once your package arrives.

What if I need maintenance in my bedroom or apartment?

If you need maintenance, simply notify a community assistant at the front desk and they will submit a request on your behalf.

What do I need to bring to my new apartment?

Linen for your type of bed, shower curtain, toiletries, dishes/cookware and decorations.
