International Experience Canada (IEC)

Work and travel?

It’s possible! International Experience Canada (IEC) is a program that provides opportunities for youth between the ages of 18 and 35 to work temporarily in Canada.

This program is an opportunity and a unique professional and personal experience!

It is an opportunity to live a different place and discover a new culture, new people, learn new languages.

According to bilateral agreements and agreements, you have the choice between 3 categories:

– INTERNATIONAL CO-OP INTERNSHIP

An opportunity to acquire work experience as part of your studies in the form of an internship.

– YOUNG PROFESSIONAL

An opportunity to develop your skills and have professional experience in Canada. To do this, you must find an employer and sign a qualified employment contract.

Namely that this visa depends on your employer and that this category is open to the French and Switzerland.

Candidates for International Business Volunteering are included in the quota of the Young Professionals category. However, during their application they must select a special category.

– WORKING HOLIDAY

This is a chance to travel across the country while financing the trip through work!

The Working Holiday an open permit allowing you to work anywhere in Canada for any Canadian employer! You’re free to go wherever you would like!

For the IEC program, eligibility conditions must be taken into account and the criteria may vary from one country to another:
